don't know how much he's swallowed. rinsed his mouth out and trying nhs direct. He seems fine but don't want to leave it

Would take him to A & E to be on safe side - you can't see how much and whether it's hurting him internally.

If he has definitely swallowed glass the advice would have to be a&E or a minor injuries unit that sees children. I rarely advise a&e but I did look this up recently on Toxbase (national poisons people) and also spoke to the expert there and he said A&E for a lady who thought she was eating crystallised sugar in a restaurant and it turned out to be the bottom of the glass that had fragmented.[bushock] So know its A&E for sure.

glass could cause internal injury...I'm glad he's fine and most things get coated by the gut before they can do much harm, but with glass I'd not risk it as it's so sharp.

Hope he is Ok x

A&E, definitely.
