kidney dilation in 6 week old

my son is having an ultra sound today to check if he has dilated kidneys. As the care/diagnois in utero was poor as has te follow up care. i want to find out what is normal for a child his age. anyone know ? or able to point me in right direction

A friend of mine's son had this. It was a slight hydronephrosis and think he was given anti biotics for a few months and it rectified itself.

he's been on antibiotics for 6 weeks and this is to check if there is still a problem. basically he was diagnoised in utero but the diagnois went against hospital protocol. normally someone with his dilation wouldn't have had to have antibiotics or a follow up scan but there has been some issues with medical staff and my obirth choices and it's sezams his care is now getting mixed up with this.
oh and really sorry for tripple posting. new computer and breasting feeding typing are making my accuracy poor.
