Chicken pox - am I infectious?

DS has chicken pox as of this morning, so i expect the other DCs will have it too soon. I have had chicken pox twice and DH has had it too.

Can we transmit the virus to others too or is it just people with the active blisters/ incubation period? Once immune from catching it yourself can you still transmit it to others? (this may be a foolish question...)

Thank you!

No you can't transmit it to others.

No as long as you yourself have had pox you can't transmit it. Only children or adults with blisters are infectious till they've scabbed and also 10 days before the blisters appear.

Hope all your DC don't get too poorly, we've just done CP in my house.
