Positional Talipes - could it be something else?

DD2 was born with positional talipes, noticaeble only in the left foot (at birth) by the time we went to the physio at 2 weeks it was very noticeable in the right foot and she has a strong tendency to push that foot the wrong way (which she doesn't with the left).

She has just had a 6 week physio check and she says we no longer need to do the exercises, but although the left foot has improved the right foot hasn't.

I am going to seek a second opinion (DH has health ins through work) but just wondered if anyone has ever had this condition misdiagnosed?
