DS2 is 16 days old and one of his nipples is swollen and hard - is this normal?

DH and I noticed it last night. Am wondering if its an after effect of the birth hormones that have not subsided yet...he is mostly breast fed and I had him via emcs

Quite worried about it so any advice appreciated and will take him to Drs also

DD had this, it was as you said due to hormones.
It just went down on its own, I wouldn't bother with the Doctors if DS is well otherwise TBH, perhaps mention to the HV at next clinic.
