Persistent dry, wheezy cough in newborn

My DD is 2 weeks old and since last night had a persisten dry cough. She breastfed fine before and now fights whilst drinking or after she fed she would start coughing as well and bring her milk up. Most of the time she coughs well after she had a feed.

I called NHS Direct and I was told to expect a call back within 8 hours. I do not really want to go through tonigh t jumping up whole time scared whenever she goes in a state with her cough. She is my 2nd and I therefore didnt think at first that it could be serious. But now not so sure.

Any advice greatly appreciated
Thanks

Yes I'd take her to ooh doc too tbh.

Is the cough wheezy but her breathing normal? How often is she coughing? When she's sick what is it like?

Thanks for advise. I ended taking her to doc and apparently she is fine and was recommended to try a humidifier in the room. Its a week today but still coughing.
