Dd is 6m. She got her first tooth 3 weeks ago at same time as terrible runny nose.

The last few days she's been miserable and yday had a temp of up to 385 and copious runny nappoes, also runny nose. She's slept all night still grumpy but has a new tooth. She's just been sick but is a sicky baby.

Could this all be teething?

Loose nappies yes - because of all the extra saliva they swallow. Maybe a runny nose too? Not sure teething causes a high temp though.

Thanks. The gp was convinced it was teething. Hmmm

Yeah - DD used to get raised temps with teething as well as all the rest. Now it seems she's just snotty - nappies and temp are fine, but then, she is 2 in a couple of weeks!

I'd say that was absolutely normal :-)

I got all those symptoms with a wisdom tooth a couple of weeks ago Blush

DM was most amused to keep telling me I was teething...

When they're teething, the immune system dips a bit making babies more susceptible to illness. So I was told!

Interesting. Thanks.
