My daughter had cp, three weeks ago, was very bad for approx 10 days then everything crusted over and some spots completely healed so she went back to nursery on 16th day. Everything was fine she had her birthday party 23 days after first spot. The following Tuesday she wakes up covered in spots again.(26 days after first diagnosed) Doctor says it's chicken pox! has anyone else had this? Confused

unusual but it happens and it happened to me....actually I have never developed an immunity to it and had it 5 times as a child!!!!
Turns out as an adult I have an auto -immune disease and am now on drugs that mean that I must stay away from anybody with it as catching it again could be life threatening Confused , my son was immunised against it to hopefully avoid this
Hope you LO is feeling better soon at least she got to celebrate her birthday
