use a nitty gritty comb and lots of conditioner. i quite like de-nitting myself.

check weekly but the nitty gritty comb is the dogs best

once you have got rid make sure you massage tea tree oil in to the hair after you wash it - I use it on both my dds and they have never had nits!

I have borrowed (after she boiled it) a good nit comb off neighbour friend till tomorrow...

Love idea of de ntiting DD... kind of like monkeys grooming.... its the thought of them on my head.... and eyelashes etc....

Don't bother with any lotions from the chemist- they don't seem to work! Combing is the ONLY way to get rid of them. Ditto the comment about the tea tree oil. I also stumbled across a tea tree and mint conditioner in Tesco (Alberto Basalm??) that is cheap as chips at 90p and is fab for combing through. The tea tree aroma seems to keep them away! Good luck!!
