Dd1 (7) keeps complaining of tummy ache when eating, its happened 3 or 4 times in the past 2 weeks. Tonight she had her favorite (pizza) and would'nt eat it because her tummy was hurting but an hour later she managed to eat some cake. She had a tummy bug 2 weeks ago (just a 24 hour bug/was sick once) but appart from that she seems well. What could it be?

My dd2 (5) frequently says eating hurts her tummy. She's a terrible fussy eater with a fairly restictive diet as she has these food issues. However, I'm keeping a close eye on the "tummy ache" thing now as I'm actually beginning to suspect she may suffer acid reflux as she points to her chest sometimes.

With your dd it may well be something lingering from the tummy bug. Do you think yoghurt may help (pre/pro biotics)?
