HELP - DD 4 months with cold and can't settle her

Any tips on how to help my DD? She has a cold, is very bunged up with a runny nose. Have taken her temperature and doesn't seem to be overly high. She has had some baby calpol but doesn't seem to be settling down. She is eating a little but it is horrible seeing her like this as she is normally such a happy baby. Any tips would be much appreciated, particularly with bedtime approaching!

Prop the head of the cot up on books, sit bowls of water in the room to increase humidity and be prepared to rewind 4 months and have her sleep on your chest overnight! Hope she feels better soon :)

Calpol now do a saline nasal spray that really helps clear the nose out. Its about £4 a bottle, but well worth it

I hope she feels better soon too ... its my birthday on saturday and i want my happy baby back! I've used the saline spray too and it is good stuff. I will try the water in the bedroom tonight, thank you! Any more tips?
