Hi,my ds has had an overnight stay in hospital over the weekend.

He had what they thought was a gastro type tummy virus,he kept being sick, thought he might be getting a bit dehydrated so put him on a fliud drip.

He has perked up and we were sent home.

During his stay they ran some blood tests, one of the liver tests has come come back a bit high.

They have made an appointment for us to return in 2 weeks to do a repeat test to see if its still high.

So worried, has anyone experienced this before. What could be causing this high result??

Not a dr or anything but I've had abnormal liver tests all my life (discovered as a child). Just to say, some people just do and it can be nothing to worry about.
