hi ,
Not sure how much to worry about this. I have had the flu which has now morphed into a foul cold. Dd is off colour too - she is a bit quiet and listless and I think she may be teething too. she also has periods where she seems to be unable to latch on and this seems to really upset her. I figured this was all related to cold/ teething and while I know she feels rotten I didn't think it warranted a trip to the doctors.

However, I have also realised that the past couple of days she has had what look like skidmarks in the front of her nappy. I've had a peer and I Can,t see anything untoward, no obvious seeping discharge or anything.

If I go to the docs its hardly an emergency so would take a few days to get appointment - am I ok to just monitor?

I would wash her well there every nappy change and monitor for now. It maybe nothing? Is her temperature up at all? If it is then take her to the GP without delay. I'm not expert though. But the GP would rather you take her if you're unsure than sit at home worrying.

I hope you get better soon it's rough looking after LO's when you're feeling ill and they are too.
