Rash in 7mo...viral rash?

Hello, just need a bit of peace of mind.
Dd is 7 months old and has in the last couple of days had a slightly raised temperature and been very snotty, but eating well etc. Temperature back to normal, still snotty, but yesterday she had a little red rash on her face and neck, so I put some sudocreme on it and an hour later it was gone. Today very faint rash has now appeared on her legs, still snotty, no temp, but alert and eating, although she is a bit more grizzly than normal. Yesterday's face rash all gone, so am presuming it's a viral rash, and will keep up the calpol. Should I get her checked out?! Advice appreciated!

I wasn't going to bother going to the doc the other day when my sob had a rash and a temperature but my mum told me to and I was so glad I had as he had scarlet fever and needed penicillin for 10 days.

Sounds like yours is just a viral rash and my son was quite unwell but thought I would mention it. It's so hard to know unless you are a doc!

Does the rash go white when you press on it?

Thanks for replies, I did the glass test this morning and it was fine. She seems much happier this afternoon and rash definitely gone down, so must have been viral, but will keep my eye on it!

My son was a very rashy baby and I remember the worry a lot.
