Baby with bruised ear

My 4 week old has a bruised ear that I think was caused by my over enthusiastic 4 year old, but might there be a medical reason for it? My 4 year old has a cough, runny nose and temperature but the baby seems okay.

Is there bruising anywhere else?

If baby seems fine otherwise then possibly just keep an eye out for further bruising.

If there is any more, or you are at all worried, then get it checked out - s/he's only a little one!

No bruises elsewhere. We were concerned in case it's sign of an ear infection or similar, considering DD1 has a temp, etc. DD2 seems fine - all she does is sleep and eat at the moment and that hasn't changed.
