teething without dribbling

My DS dribbled like crazy before he cut his first two teeth; no other symptoms. He hasn't dribbled since but is now displaying other teething symptoms (toxic nappies, nappy rash, waking up screaming at night, red cheeks, touching ears). Someone told me they will definitely dribble for next teeth if they did for the first. Do you reckon that's right?

I'm not sure it's an exact science. My ds is cutting his final two incisors, with very minimal dribbling, but lots of biting and crying.

dd had two teeth pop up without me noticing until they were through her gums. there was no crying, no dribbling, nappies were a bit nastier but not by much.

ds on the other hand was hell with his teething, dribbling, crying, the lot!
