Top teething tips?

DS is 5 months. His first tooth came through about a month ago without too many problems. His second tooth is just pushing through now and it seems much more troublesome.

So far I've tried calpol / teething ring / anbesol, all of which seem to help a bit.

Has anyone got any recommendations for anything else we could be trying? I am very aware that there are a lot of teeth still to come!

Thanks in advance.

We give DS Chamomilla 30 granules. They are the same thing as teething granules but stronger and the only thing that works for DS.

Have you tried a wet flannel to chew on?

Hope he feels better soon, teething is hurrendous!

Try ibuprofen pain relief rather than paracetamol - is better for inflammation (but I know it's officially 6m onwards).

The first ones of any batch were the worst for mine - it got easier.

Thanks for advice, he hasn't been his usual cheerful self today Sad although he is trying his best, bless him.

Where do Chamomilla 30 granules come from, do I need a prescription or can I get them over the counter?
