Why is my 18mo vomiting as she eats?

Seems really odd if it is a bug - she seems absolutely fine, but vomits as she swallows food - I could understand it if she vomited as soon as it hits her stomach. As long as she doesn't eat she is in a wonderful mood, running around, playing.
She has a bit of a cough and I thought it might be that but we have tried it twice now with food and both times she vomited (and it was vomiting rather than just regurgitation) immediately

Awww, poor love. I suppose it's clear now that she's sick?

FWIW, which isn't much, my daughter has always been a really pukey child, and it's not uncommon for her to take too much food, choke, and vomit. Well, it's less common now, but at eighteen months, still normal.

Yours probably just has a stomach bug, though, I hope she feels better soon.

Thanks :) Yes it must just be some sort of bug, just really odd that it mainly happens while eating (I think during the night was probably 10 mins after a bf). She was then up for the next 2 hours, feeling better, wanting to play Angry
