ds2 jaw pain ? what could i be ?

he has been complaining of pain when moving his jaw since monday. It is on one side and seems to be at the joint. does have teeth erupting but it doesnt seem sore around there at all , i dont think its related to that.

he is having trouble eating because it hurts. hes 12. any ideas ?

Oh I would go the dentist, better to check it out.It could be anything, does he have a brace or anything?

Yeah the dentist, i they don't know then take him the doctor.but as it is his jaw then it could be anything, filing, overcrowded teeth, even an ulcer.Hope he feels better, but until then I would just give him soup, ice cream and runny foods.

Does he teeth grind on one side? It is possible to strain the muscles on one side, i believe its called temporal mandibular pain.
