Can it be chicken pox if it doesn't blister?

A cluster of about 8 spots came out on DS1's (age 5) back on Saturday. There was also one on his tummy on and one on his leg - that was it! Little red shiny spots that just started to fade away after a few days. They did look like early pox - before they blister but they didn't blister! What else could it be or did we just get away really lightly?

It took my DS several days for the first few spots to turn into blister.

Hope it is just heat rash.
