7 3/4 yr old boy with BO under arms-is this normal?

Our son gets BO under his arms when he gets hot & sweaty. You can't smell it unless you specifically smell under his armpits but it is something I didn't imagine happened until puberty. Is this normal?
He is not overweight, average development (or even just below) for his age and has no health problems in general.
Just be interested if anyone else has noticed this is young children.

My cousin (now 28) had terrible BO at 2! So it can happen. Might be a surge of hormones, I guess it's like with girls, some develop earlier than others. My period started when I was 9. Make sure he learns to wash well and use a deodorant. It is early so you could check with GP but I'm not sure they'll do much.
