DD (3) up all night vomiting

DD has had about 6 hours of vomiting last night; kept drinking water then bringing it straight back up. Has been sleeping and not vomiting for the last 2 hours - any tips on what to feed her etc when she wakes up? She has been calling for milk, but don't think that this sounds like a good idea...

Thanks Smile

Hiya. You must both be knackered! Sad

I know it will be a battle, but start with the water again in very small quantities i.e. 100mls at a time, every 20-30 mins. It will be more likely to stay put that way. If you've got rehydration salts (Dioralyte?) and she'll drink them (they taste foul) then that would be better.

If you can keep that down for a couple of hours, a good starter for my DCs has always been toast with a scrape of jam- no butter.

Fingers crossed for a better day.
