Rash day after mmr, side effect or something random?

Hello! My little boy (13 months) had his MMR vaccination yesterday afternoon, and this morning I noticed a rash on his body, quite faint and speckled. The nurse said any rashes would be about a week later - so I'm wondering if it may be something else...
Has anyone else's dc got their rash very soon after?
He seems well apart from that, although is very unhappy today and needing lots of cuddles (which he is getting!).

could be related, could be something else. package leaflet
if you notice something unusal you can report the reaction with the yellow card scheme.

Certainly mention it to the clinic as it not usual. Even if he had the other jab at the same time (is it Hib?) this also does not cause a rash.

My goodness mousymouse, that leaflet is long. I didn't see any info regarding timescales though, but thanks for the link, at least I know what we're looking out for. I phoned the nurse who said just to watch out for a fever or going off food etc, and call again if worried. He still has the rash today, but does seem a little happier this morning. Fingers crossed that's the only side effect he has!
