Will white scratch mark stay?

Hi all,

Im worried about a mark my 3 month old baby has on her nose. When I breastfeed her I have to press down my breast with my thumb to make a breathing space for her nose. When I was breastfeeding her about 2 months ago I accidently scratched her nose with my thumb nail and then accidently did it again about 1 month afterwards. Both times it drew no blood and she carried on feeding so I figured that the scratched was not that bad. I now keep my nails really short just in case as I feel terrible about having scratched her twice. Problem is that the scratches have given her a white mark on her nose. It is not noticeable from certain angles but I can see it when I look at her straight on. I am really worried that I might have permanently scarred her as it has been there for at least a month. I was wondering if anyone has had a similar experience or knows if such a mark will stay?

Thanks

Get some vitamin E capsules, piece one with a pin and rub a bit of the contents on twice a day for a few weeks. It will take the scar down to virtually nothing. But don't worry too much, at that age, their skin repairs itself amazingly well.
