He has autism so probably not. Would steamy baths before bed help?

ah yes, understand! My son has issues and would be difficult, but I suffer terribly with sinus'. yes they would, being in a steamy room can be helpful - mine get very painful - massage good too, but possibly out also?

Or adenoids. dd2 had permanently stuffed nose till they were removed - and snored, and had sleep apnoea. Does your ds snore a lot?

Have you looked right up his nose? May sound a silly question but my son had blocked nose for ages. Turned out he had nasal polyps the size of a large peanut, which shrank with a steroid nasal spray. They look like a fleshy grape on a stalk.

hay fever? some trees are in pollen at the moment.

Thank you for all your replies, yes he does snore a lot at the moment. I've had a look up his nose and can't see anything. My mum has got a humidifer so I thought I might try that and see if it does any good. If not a trip to the dreaded doctors.

Thanks again. xx
