My 3 year old hasn't eaten anything all day and has been complaining of a tummy ache.Have just picked him up from nursery and they said he's been ok but very quiet and he looked like a ghost-really pale!
Anyway,I've bought him home and he's sitting watching the telly and when I looked, his chin and half of his right cheek and ear are bright red and hot to touch.
Have given him some Nurofen and have an emergency doctors appointment for 6pm,but now I'm worrying as his hands are very cold.
Any ideas,anyone? Thanks

It's a virus.
Sorry, you don't want to hear that, but it's all the GP will say, too.

Thank you.
Yes,doctor said it was a virus, which was reassuring. He thinks he may have a water infection too,so have to take a sample to the surgery.
We've come home and he's charging about, eating everything in site now.TypicalBlush
