Ds 10 has itchy viral conjunctivitis (diagnosed by other thread!) but do I send him in as per nhs direct or keep him off and spare class epidemic of itching and his getting worse but being a bit pfb though I have it and will still be working grrrrr no day at grandmas for me!

Please a mumsnet decision needed!

what is school policy (do you know)? They seem to vary, and not neccesarily follow Health Protection Agency guidelines.

Have no idea though they're usually pretty strict. I reckon he'll be fine to go in if they let him though if it gets worse - his eyes v red I prob keep him off unless he can smuggle golden eye in disguised as tippex

But without guidelines would you send them in?
