can a 6 week old be teething? she sucking on her fingers, rubbing her cheeks and one minute fine next crying very irritable if not why do you think she like this?

It is possible - some babies are born with teeth. DD got her first one before she was 4 months old. Poor lamb was distraught - never occurred to us this could be it.

Other possibilities - oral thrush?
