Could it be urinary infection?

DS2, nearly 3, has been potty trained more or less for the last 2 months. Poos fine, but with wees he always seems to do a bit of wee, hold on to the rest, and then go to the potty to do the rest, if you see what I mean. So, lots of damp pants/trousers to deal with.

It was while removing his last pair of pants that I noticed a quite large white mark at the front, where his willy goes. Just wondering now if it could be that he has a urinary infection, or ballinitis (spelling?), and that's why he's weeing so frequently. He's also got a very upset stomach at the moment, but that could be completely coincidental.

He has no fever and seems fine in himself, so could just be that we haven't quite mastered the p training.

Any views? Thanks, in advance.

Thanks Pixie. I'll take him tomorrow.

Anyone else's toddler had a UTI/thrush? Thanks
