Pfb question about baby sick

My ds is 4 weeks old. Sometimes he brings up milk after a feed, but other times he brings up milk between feeds which is curdled and sour smelling. He seems to constantly be blowing bubbles and have some of this curdled stuff in or round his mouth. Is this something to worry about? He gets hiccups a lot too, I thought he might have reflux but he is fairly content and doesn 't scream or cry in the way I have read about reflex babies doing.

It's quite normal for babies to be sick a little bit from time to time; after a feed it's called 'posseting' and is sort of overflow Grin. They can also puke a little between feeds, as the muscles around the top of the stomach are quite weak so the milk comes back up mid-digestion (hence why it's a bit curdled).

Just check with the HV that the curdled milk in his mouth isn't oral thrush (it can look very similar) but if he's contented, feeding well and his mouth isn't too pink or red then it's probably just milk. If it rinses or wipes away then nothing to worry about.

Ok thanks! Yeah it does wipe away, so hopefully just milk!
