Anything I can do for 11 week old with cold/cough?

My 11 week DS has a snotty nose/congestion and a little cough. I've used saline drops on occasion at night to ease it for him, but is there anything else I can give him? He's not sleeping very well.

You could prop up the cot or mattress so that the head is slightly higher than the foot. I hope your LO is better soon.

you can try a humidifer, keeps the congestion loose so that its easier for them to breathe, my DS is now 8 months and got a nasty cold, got one a few weeks ago, and so wish i had purchased one sooner.
Also the plug-ins are good, but just check the age first.
Hope he gets better soon

wet towel on radiator at night and take baby into a steamy bathroom. you can buy little suctions that draw snot out of little noses and they work well.

a dummy helps too as if they are sucking and therefore not breathing through mouth as much their throat doesnt tickle making them cough. You can also buy these fab dummies with a little compartment for putting vicks in to keep their noses clear while they suck.

I keep a kettle in DD's room when she is really bad and just sit with my finger on it! (poor love has been hospitalised with croup before now).

We've had the same thing. Propped the cot up at one end, bought a Karvol plug-in and put a pot of water on the radiator, to put some moisture into the air. It'll pass, but it's hard to watch them all stuffed up and snotty.
