Chickenpox ??

DS1 3.1 has had chicken pox this week. Started with a single spot last Saturday on his back and turned into multiple spots then blisters over the following days. Now all spots seem to be scabbed over so I am working on the basis that he is now safe to go out.
DS2 1.1 is still BF (I have had CP) and started with one spot on his face and has now got a couple more spots - one on his back and one other on his neck. They don't look the same as DS1 spots but he was similarly snotty and gumpy before they came out. I have obviously been keeping him away from anyone but I am now not sure if he actually has it or not and whether I need to keep him isolated for another 2 weeks.
Any thoughts ?

you only need to keep away from others until the spots scab over which is normally 5-7 days from when the spots appear. I wouldnt isolate for the length of time you suggested

thanks - DS1 is fine to go out now that he is 6 days on from the start of the rash and the spots have crusted over.
I am not sure if DS2 has it though so I am thinking that I need to keep him away from people in case he is brewing it and infectious without me realising. The incubation period is 10 - 21 days I think.
