Ok to cut a long story short dd1 (7) has been ill for nearly 3 weeks. Started as normal cough/cold, started to get better then ears really painful. Took her to gp on Monday and got antibiotics. Ears now much better, but temp has gone up to 38 and complaining of headache and tummy ache. I'm assuming tummy ache is her due to glands.

Do I go back to gp today? Dh thinks I should, but I'm more keen to wait a bit longer.

No don't wait. Why would you? Your poor DD is suffering.

That is a long time to be poorly. What will you gain by not taking her today if you can?
Poor little girl could be getting better.
Do take her.

Her temp is normal this morning. I'll take her. I suppose my reluctance is that it seems like a mild flu and I have a feeling he'll say calpol/nurofen. It's a 15 minute walk so she's going to have to endure 30 mins of walking. I don't drive and dh is at work.

My other 3 children had it and shook it off quite quickly, it seems to be lingering with her. I will take her though.
