FFS Threadworms again!

dd (6) had threadwomrs a month ago, we completed the course of tablets, scrubbed the house, washed everything etc etc and now SHE'S GOT THEM AGAIN!!! Aggghh. I gave her another worming tablet 2 days ago and she's still got them...now what? Bloody sick of this. Horrid wormy bastards. She's also very upset and embarrassed about it and saying she can't go to school

Did you re-dose everyone two weeks after the first lot? I tend to do a third dose, tbh, a week after - just in case.

ps they can take 2-3 days to die and disappear, if its a heavy infestation.

Yes, stuck to the medication guide. I will give her another tablet in a few days if the wriggly buggers are still around.

This is 3rd time dd has had them and its hard to talk to people about it as they most often recoil in horror!
