Hi, My daughter is suffering from excess wind! She has always been a bit windy but now she sounds like a machine gun going off.
This is really embarrasing for her. No other obvious toilet problems.
Has anyone out there had a windy child, and why so much wind?

Does she eat with her mouth open ? chew gum a lot at all? or gulp food down ? this could be the problem if everything else is ok then I would focus on her eating ( or is she just a big fan of baked beans !! lol)

No to all of your suggestions, she eats with her mouth closed, doesn't gulp, never has gum. Baked beans may be once a week.I cook all our food and dont use any prepared sauces etc. If it wasn't upsetting her so much, I wouldn't worry to much, and put it down to just one of those things.
