Rash on DD's face

My DD had come out with a spotty rash on her face. The spots are quite small and don't have blisters on, so I don't think it is chicken pox, but they started on Monday with just 2 or 3 and now she has about 10. Some are tiny, some quite big. She seems ok in her self, eating ok and not got a temp, but she is a bit more tired than usual. I just wondered if anyone knows of this could be a virus going round or just one of those childhood things!

Many thanks Smile

My DD(2.5) had something similar three weeks ago and it turned out to be hand foot and mouth - not serious but they get spots in their mouths and on hands and feet. Her spots were mainly on her face and looked exactly like chicken pox but were tender and not itchy. The spots only lasted for about 4 days.

Thanks for the reply! I have heard of a couple of people getting hand foot and mouth over the last month or so, so may be it is doing the rounds here? I remember having it as a child, so I'll keep an eye on her and see how she goes. I don't think she has any spots in her mouth or on her hands or feet at the minute, though. It is strange as these spots start off big and then get small over the course of the day, but she keeps getting more new ones so I'm really not sure!

Hope your DD is now better! Smile
