Help! My DD is 18 months and has diarrhea for the last 31/2 days. The last 48hrs it's mainly been first thing in the morning for a few hours, then nothing for the rest of the day. No sickness. She's been on bland food such as dried toast, baked potato, banana and egg. and of course lots of water.

She is generally fine in herself although we struggle with teething and mucus that makes her have a dry cough, but they haven't ruked out milk allergy. We have moved over to soya milk, though not at the moment obviously. Last week she developed big rashes like wheels on her body and arms, but they went and now this!

The Drs are somewhat indecisive and we are due to go back to consultant in next few weeks.

In the meantime... we are at a loss with the diarrhea and need to stop it. Should she have some diorralyte?
