Asthma like symptoms coming going (with help from ventolin)

DD 9 use to use to get viral asthma when she was a toddler then it went two years with hay fever and asthma and her had becotide.

By about 5-6 she started to get better and yes she?s till prone to coughs but they don't normal come a problem. So stop as the asthma medication.

Before christmas she was ill for a week and on recovery she developed a bad cough with a slight wheeze and tight chest. So gave her some of my ventoline and with in a few day things were better. But she's not been total right since with a slight cough coming and going. Then in the last week started a night cough that turned in the last few todays to been terrible. Short of breath, tight, chest and coughing day and night. Thursday night been the worse gave her ventoline from about 5pm at 4 hour intervals till some time yesterday evening. Last night she slept hardly any cough and hardly coughing today saying my coughs gone and I've got my breath back.

Sorry getting a bit long but what I was planing was to see the dr Tuesday but few like a fraud if she's better now.

Sorry might seem like the bad mother but I work full time and find getting the time off work for dr and things very hard.

Thanks pixie feeling better but still worried that if the symptoms are not there now will the dr sent me away if a flea in my ear. As you probably can tell don't must like going to the dr in less I really have too. That goes for myself as well as taking dd to dr. I was brought up that way (first 6 years of my life were in the Australian bush were it was flying dr or over 2 hrs drive.)

I have a peak flow metre myself, dd's had ago and it's 230 and feeling a little breathless. Not really much help as I don't know what it should be for her age and height.
