Two of my three Dcs have an identical smallis (about 1" diameter) patch of dry scales on the back of their heads.
It is a small area of raised dry scaley skin. It sheds very large patches of dry skin (like huge particals of dandruff).
DD says one of her friends has it.
DS2 scratches this area.
DS2 has had it a few days and I noticed it on DD today.
They both share a bath and use the same shampoo
Does anyone know what this might be?
The scalp itself looks healthy and is not red or sore
