I have got chronic itchy ears and it is due to chronic rhinitis (hay fever) Can't fine out what I'm allergic to and drives me bonkers, also get tickly throat and stuffy nose. I take a daily anti histimine. Must be allergic to work!

Not saying this is DS problem. Get the GP to look, it is very common to get excema in the ears, usually causing redness and weeping. Infection unlikely, but if he's had a recent cold could be a bit mucusy in the tubes leading to the ears which will drain eventually. Could be wax deep in the ear?

I had the patch test thingy but the only allergy was cats - which I knew already and avoid them! There are so many allergens in the environment it would be a miracle if one obscure tree pollen showed up (tho they test trees pollens and moulds). At least my dog is safe (x) and I can have a horse it i want!! I found cetirazine better than loratidine (odd)
