8 month old vomiting, any advice

He's been a bit drowsy and constipated all day and suddenly threw up, violently, all over me at about 7:30. Since then he's thrown up about 4 more times and seems very distressed. His stomach sounded like a storm drain the last time too.

Is there anything I can do apart from be here, cuddle and clean up? I assume nothing medication wise would be any good? Any advice appreciated.

You need to keep him hydrated, if he can't keep large amounts down give him teaspoons of water every so often.

If there is no change in the morning, take him to the docs.

Thanks. Will try and get liquids in him. He tends to throw up then go back to sleep so window of opportunity small!

How is he today? Has he stopped being sick yet?

TheSkiingGardener · 10/02/2011 11:00

Last sickness was at 4 a.m. so are on the mend. Wolfed down milk this morning, then an hour later downed a beaker of water. Won't eat yet but things are looking better.

Thank you for coming back and asking Grin
