Dd aged 7 developing breast buds

She is average height, about 125 cm, and average weight with no waist.

She has no other signs of puberty but I am worried in case she is going through it early. She is so tiny and I am afraid she will be under 5 foot tall when fully grown.

I will try and get a GP appointment but not sure if I am being too precious. She has only started developing in past week but says she can feel smarties in her breasts.

my niece was aged 6 when she went through this, and my MiL pushed for her to be diagnosed with premature puberty. she was then given regualr injections to prevent early onset puberty, which could have caused premature fusing of bones. she is now 15 and normal height/weight etc, having passed through puberty at 11 6 months after the injections stopped. she was diagnosed as having nighttime epileptic episodes at 9 and underwent an mri and took medication for that, but again, she is long off all medication now and is totally fine.
If you are concerned about your DD then don't feel you are being precious, she is your daughter and relies on you to fight her corner. if she's fine and you were overreacting then brilliant. if not then thank goodness you intervened. either way, she'll be fine in the long run, and good luck with finding out.

Thanks for your comment, it is good to know that there is a treatment if needed. I'm glad the treatment worked well for your niece :)

I don't think you are being overly precious; do talk to your GP and see what they suggest.
