Hello all, just wondering if anyone knows why my dd's hands/arms sometimes shake? I'm pretty sure it isn't blood sugar as it isn't at times you would expect this to be low. It is usually when she is doing fiddly things but she can do other fiddly things (using scissors, writing) without it happening. It never happens at home only at school or friends houses so do you think it could be related to nerves/anxiety? Although she is not an anxious child Confused

Does she use inhalers? I know my hands and arms shake when I use my blue inhaler?

Or if it doesn't happen at home, could it be rather than anxiousness a desire to do what ever she is doing well but quickly? A bit of a competitive streak that is causing a release of adrenaline?

Sorry not a Dr but thought I'd post my thoughts in case they're helpful.

thanks for that, no she doesn't use inhalers. But I think you are right, it does seem to be when she is rushed that it happens.
