Second swine flu jab today - has a cold?

My Ds has part 2 of his swine flu jab today and has woken with runny nose. No temp, what do you think is the likelyhood of them giving it today?

Trying to prepare myself as he HATES the doctors and can't face the 30 min wait/struggle if we are gonna be turned away.

Might call surgery in a bit.

I thought the guidelines were no fever while vaccinating, but I may be wrong. If its a runny nose then children would find it hard to find a time during winter when they dont have one!

my son had his second today and he is still on antibiotics from a chest infection- they said as long as no fever then have the jab.

When Ds had his jabs last week she checked he wasn't on antibiotics as she wouldn't have done it? They won't do them with ds if he is showing any signs of illness, but I wouldn't take him anyway!

to be honest i thought it was a bit ott on their part but the receptionist made me feel guilty for even suggesting it!
