DD is 10 and for the last few weeks Her joints have been clicking and 'popping' when she moves.

It's mainly her knees and hips but has been her shoulders and wrists too. It has been sore afterwards on occasion and once or twice her knees have 'locked' - she feels like they are going to click but they don't but she has to make it happen iykwim?

Is this some kind of growth spurt do you think? She has grown a fair bit recently so I'm wondering if it's that?

Anyone experienced similar?

Hello Skip. MY dd is having the same at the moment and she is 11. We did mention it in passing at the doctors and she said probably growth spurt but to come back if it gets worse or she starts limping/getting pain.
DD gets most of her clicking in her hip but also has it in her knees, ankles and jaw.

Thanks for the reply Meg.

I am hoping it's just a spurt. I'll keep an eye on it and talk to the Dr if it gets worse then.
