Hello,

I have found out today my 3 year old needs a pair of glasses for long sightedness. We have just moved to central Windsor - can anyone recommend a reasonably priced and child friendly optician?

Many thanks Mums!

they will be free - ds has had glasses since 11 mths. Found Specsavers and Boots opticians good. Some of the independent ones will charge you. Take your prescription and go look in all of them for the ones you like

Thank you so much - I know where Boots is so I will try there first. Can't believe an 11 month old can need glasses. Poor mite! I suppose you have well and truly got used to them by now though. I am hoping my 3 year old will get on ok with them. I know loads of people wear glasses - but it is still hard when it is your own babe who has to have them isn't it? x
