Fluoride in schools

Fluoride treatment has been offered to the children in ds's school - is this standard practice, would you/did you accept it for your child, what does anyone know about it? Thanks for your thoughts.

are you in Scotland? Some areas are offered fluoride painting as part of the Childsmile campaign. Our area isnt offering it at the moment

It makes an ENORMOUS difference to Children's experience of dental decay. If you're concerned I would speak to your dentist but please consider it, the statistics are mind blowing when they consider the difference between fluoridated and non fluoridated cities.
