Do I wake her up?

DD (2) with a flu, had temp 40 degrees yesterday, today still hot, but better.

Went for a nap at 3, it's after 7 now (one hour ahead of the UK).

On the one hand, it's good to sleep when you're ill, on the other she'll be up all night when she finally does wake up.

DP says she might sleep through til morning Hmm

What would you do?

Personally I would wake her, get her up for an hour or so and see if she wants anything to eat, or at least a drink.

I would imagine that if you don't wake her now she'll be awake and thirsty at some ridiculous hour.

True, of course she needs to drink

Woke her up, over 39 degrees, shivering but fed herself a yoghurt and had a piece of chocolate and some juice.

Will make dinner in a sec.

This flu thing is awful.

Let her sleep, and she won't be up all night if she is that ill. But make sure she is drinking (preferably something with a little sugar in it, like a sirop).

She's awake now and doing a jigsaw puzzle. Very croaky.

Yes, good idea, Bonsoir, will tell DP to stop at Monoprix on his way back from work.
