Did your dc get a rash with teething?

ds 7 months has a lump which we presume is first tooth coming through. The same day (week ago) we noticed this lump he got a red rash over back and chest. Think he also has fever.

gp says not ezcema, maybe virus but seems a coincidence. My mum thinks we all had rashes when teething.

Normally a rash on his bum, but nothing on his back/chest. IME, most DC's feel unwell when teething, DS usually gets a runny nose and a cough.

Thanks Bustle, he does have a runny nose actually.
