8mo DS has just been diagnosed with this. He's... robust (i.e. chunky), shall we say but hasn't really been able to stomach anything other than milk (mixed fed) for almost a week. Mentioned to Dr on Thu that he seems to throw up every time we attempt solids but he didn't seem too worried. Question is, when do we start worrying? I have to work tomorrow but my Mum's all for taking him back to the surgery.

As long as he is taking the fluid I wouldn't worry and just offer little and often.

When DS is chesty he can go up to 2 weeks without eating anything and this has never worried them when he has been in hospital. I always find he is more willing to take finger foods (especially rice cakes) when first starting to eat again.

Hope he is better soon

Thanks! Came home today and he seems much better.
